The Fixx deservedly were a staple of the early MTV era. It might seem commonplace now, but their mix of synth and rock was revolutionary at the time. “One Thing Leads to Another,” “Saved by Zero,” and “Red Skies at Night” were staples of the New Wave/Modern Rock era version of MTV that established the channels reputation for being on the cutting edge of American contemporary popular music.

They’ll be making rare appearance at The Senate on Tuesday, August 26th. You can experience them live when you WIN YOUR WAY IN weekdays this week on WXRY.
